Several British homebuilding firms have released information indicating a recover in the UK real estate market. Taylor Wimpey, Bovis Homes and Redrow, which are widely considered the three most significant names nationwide for the sector, indicated that the government's recent programmes for boosting new home starts are having an impact.

Two of the three firms indicated that government schemes that had proven useful to the sector included NewBuy, which is a programme intended to assist individuals to purchase a new home even when they cannot raise the full amount of the traditionally required deposit. Another positive move by the UK government had been FirstBuy, which specifically assists first-time home purchasers in obtaining an equity loan. These initiatives were helping to increase confidence in the UK real estate market.

Bovis Homes in particular let it be known that increasing price stability in the housing markets was also boosting profit margins in the sector, as was the fact that housing prices in England's southern regions had remained somewhat stronger than those in other parts of the nation.

All three builders have announced that they expect their financial performance for the current fiscal year to meet or exceed expectation.
